Food & Entertaining | Make Your Own Baby FoodGreen Superfood Baby Food
Ingredients: 3 peeled and diced apples • 1/2 cup spinach • 1/2 cup kale • ¼ cup uncooked quinoa • ¾ cup water • 1/2 ripe avocado • ½ banana • 1 mint leaf
Method: Pour water and quinoa into saucepan • Put diced apples on top • Heat to a boil • Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 14 minutes • Add spinach and kale to pan • Cover and simmer for 1 minute • Pour quinoa, apple and any leftover water into blender • Add avocado, banana and mint leaf • Blend to desired consistency • Cool before feeding
